Here, the creatures, characters, and fractured echoes of thought take shape in purple-hued landscapes, VHS-toned skies, and mystical realms that exist somewhere between dream and reality.

 

In 2025, the first Tarotopia Festival came alive at the Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids, headlined by Kenji with openers Six Tee and Priv. Two hundred curious souls stepped into the fold, discovering a space where music, art, and the surreal collide. Vendors like Spirit Dreams, with their tarot and mystical crafts, and Karmic Delay, with visionary streetwear, added layers to the experience — each a portal into the world beyond the ordinary.

The night was alive with chaos and wonder: mosh pits that erupted like thunderstorms, a piñata thrown into the shadows, and yes, even an inflatable sex doll wandering the purple haze. These moments were fleeting, strange, and unforgettable — just as memory and imagination themselves are. Everyone left the venue going about business as usual, but knowing internally that something was different.

In 2026, Tarotopia returns, bigger and deeper than ever. More artists, more vendors, and more experiences await, each expanding the internal universe of the mind into a space where everyone can step inside, explore, and get lost.
