Originally from Grand Rapids, Kenji recently moved to Los Angeles, California in order to break the monotonous feeling, and to pursue his life-long dreams with other artists in LA. Each of his songs is a representation of a piece of his mind—whether that piece be positive or broken—and though he connects with his cult-like following prominently through his somber, emotion filled music, his versatility is demonstrated throughout an assortment of unique skits, with heavy-hitting underground artists including ✦ pink cig ✦ and Emo Fruits. His spacial, ambient, self-produced beats paired with punchy, raw vocals create a sound that will bring you to a place that seems eerily nostalgic.
